Your First Visit
We will start with a comprehensive examination where we will review and discuss your medical history, discuss any specific concerns regarding your oral health and complete a thorough clinical exam of your mouth as well as surrounding head and neck tissue. We will also conduct an oral cancer screening.
We will gather appropriate diagnostic information, including X-rays, digital photos and study models. X-rays allow the dentist to diagnose decay in teeth, to detect any pathology adjacent to teeth or in the jaw and to determine the health of the bone around the teeth. If Dr. Daniel orders a model of your teeth, that will allow him to study the way your teeth fit together when you are not at the office and to determine a comprehensive treatment plan for you.
